Build your own aesthetic

Select your canopy type and bowl type for a bespoke style

Choose from two canopy styles, original or disc, and two bowl types, 5˚ or 20˚, all based on one direct illumination platform. The 5˚ bowl offers a more contemporary finish, whilst the 20˚ provides a classic Plurio shape and maintains aesthetic consistency with existing Plurio installations.

Optical excellence

for visual comfort and environmentally responsible lighting

Plurio combines advanced optical technology with outstanding visual comfort to create welcoming, people-focused urban spaces. A choice of high-performance A-PEC and R-PEC optics, excellent light uniformity and very low glare help deliver the right light, exactly where it's needed, for streets, pathways, parks and residential environments.
To further enhance visual comfort, an optional comfort diffuser creates a soft, evenly distributed glow that is pleasant for users, whilst maintaining excellent lighting performance. Combined with low upward light output and optional backlight control accessories, Plurio helps create comfortable night-time environments, protect dark skies and reduce unwanted light pollution.

Engineered for sustainability

Modular by design

Designed in line with Zumtobel Group’s Circular Design Rules, Plurio has been developed to support maintenance, refurbishment and upgrades throughout its lifecycle. Its modular architecture, combined with an all-in-one gear tray and light engine that can be accessed and removed using a single tool, simplifies servicing and component replacement.
The circular design approach is further supported through the use of recycled materials, recyclable components (see brochure for data) and a design that enables straightforward disassembly, repair, refurbishment and end-of-life processing. Designed around Thorn’s pioneering modular design concept, Zhaga-ready connectivity also enables future connectivity upgrades without replacing the luminaire, supporting long-term use and adaptability.

Futureproofing connectivity

with a simple zhaga down upgrade

Plurio has been designed with connectivity in mind. Thanks to its modular architecture, upgrading to Zhaga connectivity is quick and straightforward, whether it's weeks, months or years after installation. Zhaga Down upgrades can be completed on-site using a single tool, allowing lighting schemes to adapt to changing requirements without replacing the luminaire.
With Thorn’s connected lighting solutions, Plurio enables smarter management of urban and residential lighting installations. From standalone controls to fully connected lighting networks, users can benefit from enhanced monitoring, energy management and operational insight, helping to optimise performance throughout the life of the installation.
