Clustered high in the Alps of northern Italy, Predazzo, Anterselva, and Cortina d’Ampezzo are iconic winter sports venues. Thorn's latest case study demonstrates what can be achieved when innovation meets collaboration.
The iconic winter sports venues of Predazzo, Anterselva and Cortina D'Ampezzo are renowned for hosting everything from local competitions to major global events broadcast around the world. The three locations are equipped for ski jumping, bobsledding, skiing, biatholon races and much more.
Thorn partnered closely with each site to deliver advanced lighting solutions designed to elevate athlete performance, enhance the spectator experience, and respect the unique character of the surrounding landscapes.
The project brought its share of challenges — from geographical constraints to technical and environmental considerations.
