Iain Macrae, Head of Global Lighting Applications at Thorn Lighting and President of the Society of Light and Lighting (SSL), will speak at the euroLED seminar on Tuesday 26th March 2013 at the Birmingham Science Park, England. euroLED is dedicated to the science and technology of LEDs and includes a Technical Conference, Exhibition and Gala Dinner.

Iain will cover Thorn's 15 ways to save energy, which has been developed as part of the Thorn Energy Partnership and eControl. The easy to follow framework now forms a major pillar of Thorn's consultation advice for customers who set out to minimise energy consumption. It is based on the principles that implementing one or more of the 15 ways, which cover technology, control, application and the environment, will help generate significant energy savings. 

As well as presentations from other guest speakers, the LED Seminar will feature lighting design project case studies and end with a tour of the testing facilities at the OPC.
